RV Rental Minnesota

Naturally, the “Land of 10,000 Lakes” is a wonderful place to explore by RV! The state is full of wide-open spaces and wilderness for you to take in while camping in a motorhome. If you’re looking for an RV rental in Minnesota, RVshare can help!

If you want to rent a motorhome in Minnesota, you’ll need to first decide what will suit you and your family or fellow travelers’ needs. A Class A motorhome is the biggest, and offers the most amenities. You should be able to find a Class A RV for rent in Minnesota for about $250 a night, although there are some that are less and some that are much more! You can bring the per-night cost of your rental down by renting for a week, which averages out to $214 a night, or by renting for a month, which works out to $167 a night.

A Class B campervan rental in Minnesota is an option if you’re traveling solo or with a very small group. A Class B van is useful because it’s easy to maneuver and can fit just about any camping spot. You can rent one in Minnesota for about $179 a night. This works out to $149 a night when you rent for a week or $140 a night when you rent for a month.

A Class C camper combines some of the luxuries of a Class A motorhome with the smaller footprint of a Class B van to give you something in between them both. You can rent a Class C motorhome in Minnesota for around $220 a night, although they can go up to $600 or more! This works out to $200 a night when you rent for a week, and $100 per night when you rent for a month.

Discover Minnesota in an RV!

Minnesota’s thousands of lakes, miles of wilderness, and bustling cities like Minneapolis and St. Paul mean that you’re sure to find something for everyone to do! You can hike and kayak the many waterways, or spend a day shopping at one of the largest malls in the country. Art lovers and music enthusiasts will also find there are many galleries, concerts, and festivals you can attend as well.

US National & State Parks

There are many beautiful RV campgrounds across the state, but if you want to see spectacular views and enjoy recreation in some of the most breathtaking places in the country, check out Minnesota’s state and national parks. Over 40% of Voyageurs National Park is water, making it home to some truly amazing scenery. The park is known for its forests and lakes and the lush greenery that thrives in places with lots of water. You can hike, kayak, and swim, and the night sky is known to be one of the darkest in the country, making stargazing a wonder.

The St. Croix National Scenic Riverway is a great place to kayak or canoe, and a promising spot to fish for bass. If you like hiking in the woods, you'll enjoy the North Country National Scenic Trail. This is currently the longest hiking trail in the state, and it has portions that are appropriate for both beginners and experienced hikers.

In Park Rapids, you can set up your RV at Itasca State Park and enjoy one of the many hiking trails at the headwaters of the Mississippi River. Tettegouche State Park has waterfalls, a striking shoreline, and plenty of space to enjoy outdoor sports and activities. You can go fishing for trout, walleye, northern pike, bass, and panfish in the river among the red pine at Whitewater State Park. On land, go biking, hiking, or horseback riding.

Whether you’re heading to the races solo or with a family, you’re sure to have a blast! And since they take place outside, you’ll get to spend a day out in the fresh air watching racers do some truly death-defying stunts!

Highways & Airports in and near Minnesota

Minnesota has three major interstate roads: Interstate 94, Interstate 90, and Interstate 35. Interstate 94 crosses the state from South Dakota to Wisconsin, Interstate 90 crosses the southern portion of Minnesota, and Interstate 35 runs from the southern part of the state to the northern part of the state. For a more leisurely and scenic trip, consider taking one of the many state highways that cross Minnesota.
