Georgetown is the “Red Poppy Capital of Texas. Each spring, thousands of them bloom, and the spectacle they create draws tens of thousands of visitors annually, each spring. There’s nothing else quite like it, so if you’re planning a visit anytime in the spring, definitely check it out and bring your camera. It’ll take your breath away.
Held on the first Saturday in April, this fantastic one day event hosts a stunning array of arts, crafts, musical performances and food for your enjoyment. It doesn’t last long, but it is not to be missed if you’re in the area that weekend in a trailer rental Georgetown TX!
Held the second weekend of October each year to celebrate Georgetown’s place as a stop along the Chisholm trail, this is probably one of the coolest things you’ll ever see.
