Jacksonville International Airport is the only major airport in North Florida, however, it is just 20 minutes north from Downtown Jacksonville. If you choose to rent a car from the airport, you can get into town by taking the main airport road (Airport Road) to Interstate 95. Head south on I-95 towards Jacksonville and stay on the freeway until you reach Exit 353 B, which will take you onto West Union Street. Union Street will take you to the Sports and Entertainment district of downtown, where Welcome to Rockville takes place.
If you’re traveling downtown from the Airport by bus, Jacksonville Transportation Authority Route 1 (North Main/JIA) will get you to the Rosa Parks Transit Station in the heart of downtown, which will connect you to the rest of the JTA system.
Jacksonville is served by two interstates, Interstate 95, which comes in from Georgia, and Interstate 10, which dead ends in Jacksonville coming in from the west.
