The Telluride Wine Festival is a weekend filled with exceptional food and wine. This festival is set in a historic mining town that will take you back to the days of the Old West. Many people travel to Telluride to taste the wine and food at the festival. However, this event offers more than just drinks and cuisine. The Telluride Wine Festival serves a bigger purpose in the community as it supports the local culinary and hospitality businesses along with regional farmers. In addition, the festival also helps educate the community about healthy eating habits and the importance of sustainability. Whether you want to learn how to cook a delicious meal or just taste the local offerings, check out the Telluride Wine Festival.

When you attend the Telluride Wine Festival, there are plenty of amenities to enjoy. Since it is located in the downtown area, you can browse the shops or take in the majestic mountain views. There are also entertainment options, information booths, ATMs and merchandise shops available throughout downtown Telluride.

Beautiful and historic Telluride is the setting for wine tastings in the local boutiques, galleries and wine bars. Elks Park will be the main spot for all the exciting cooking demonstrations and wine seminars. You can even learn how to mix unique cocktails from a celebrated mixologist. Visitors love to enjoy local music and wines from around the world. You can even see artists painting with wine throughout the festival. If you are looking for something special, you don’t want to miss out on the reserve wine tastings or wine lunches with chefs and winemakers. Telluride is tucked into the San Juan Mountains, and it is well-known as a ski town. However, this spot is also a great place to get back to nature. You can travel on mountain bike trails, fish in the alpine streams or explore the aspen forest. While the festival takes place in the downtown area, there are not many places to park your RV in the town. However, you can find suitable places to spend the night outside of Telluride. You will be able to find several RV parks to leave your rig for the day as you head off for fun and wine. With an RV rental from RVshare, you can marvel at the beauty of the Colorado landscape and taste the best food and wine in the region.

Telluride Town Park Campground is located in town, and it is within walking distance of the downtown area. It only accepts RVs up to 30 feet in length, and this includes the size of the vehicle pulling the rig. Guests can enjoy tennis courts, modern bathrooms, showers and a swimming pool here. There are no dump stations or electrical hookups available on the grounds. However, an RV dump station is located at the wastewater treatment plant at Society Turn.
