Families have been “finding their fun” at the Oregon State Fair for over 150 years. Generations of families have been partaking in the fair, by visiting and experiencing rides, exhibits, games and more, or by participating in agriculture or creative living competitions, hoping to bring home a first-place ribbon! With a wide variety of live music, activities, food, animal and other exhibits and more, the Oregon State Fair is the perfect way to celebrate the end of summer with family time!  

ACTIVITIES & ENTERTAINMENT

The Oregon State Fair Hours are as follows:

Friday, Aug. 23: 10:00 am to 11:00 pm

Saturday, Aug. 24: 10:00 am to 11:00 pm

Sunday, Aug. 25: 10:00 am to 10:00 pm

Monday, Aug. 26 thru Thursday through Aug. 29: 10:00 am to 10:00 pm

Friday, Aug. 30: 10:00 am to 11:00 pm

Saturday, Aug. 31: 10:00 am to 11:00 pm

Sunday, Sept. 1: 10:00 am to 11:00 pm

Labor Day, Sept. 2: 10:00 am to 10:00 pm

Carnival rides start operating at 11:00 am daily during the Fair.

The wide variety of attractions, exhibits and activities are what keep Oregon fairgoers coming back year after year! From live music to pig races, a unique petting zoo, competitions, animal exhibits and of course, classic fair food, drink, rides and games, there is something for everyone in the family.

All-Alaskan Racing Pigs: The ultimate crowd-pleaser, watch four adorable pigs race each other through obstacles to win the race. Click here for more info.

FFA: A traditional point of pride at the Oregon State Fair, check out the FFA exhibits and chat with the young Oregonians to learn more about their exhibits and achievements. Click here for more information.

Great American Petting Zoo and Ag Venture: A different kind of petting zoo, the farm animals run freely with fairgoers. Visit the petting zoo and experience llamas, deer, wallabies, exotic and domestic goats, sheep, baby animals and more. The Ag Venture features exhibits that allow kids to learn how to milk a cow or goat, learn to saddle a pony and much more.

4-H: 4-H participants from around the entire state of Oregon visit the Oregon State Fair to compete in a wide variety of competitions, including communications, horticulture, natural science and more. Click here for more info.

Animals: From dog shows to horse shows and animal exhibits, the agriculture animals have long been an important part of the Oregon State Fair. Click here for more information.

ON-SITE AMENITIES

There are plenty of amenities available at the Oregon State Fair to ensure you have a great time! On-site amenities include: FairLift (provides a 15-minute pleasure ride across the fairgrounds), wheelchairs and motorized scooter rental, and lost and found.

HOW TO GET THERE

To get to the Oregon State Fair, follow the directions below:

From the North:

Travel south on I-5 to Exit 258 (Portland Road NE). Turn right onto Portland Road and follow to Lana Avenue NE. Turn left at the light onto Lana Avenue NE. At the end of Lana Avenue NE (it’s one long block), there is a stoplight. Proceed through the light, crossing Silverton Road NE, to the North Parking Lot (Blue Lot).

Another option is to take Exit 256 (Market Street NE). Turn right (west) at the light onto Market Street and follow to 17th Street NE. Turn right at the light onto 17th Street NE, and follow to the Oregon State Fair & Exposition Center. Parking in the South Lot (Orange Lot) is at the intersection of 17th Street and Sunnyview Road NE (to the right of the light), or turn right onto Sunnyview Road NE to access the Pavilion Lot (Pink Lot) and ADA parking.

To access the North Lot (Blue Lot), turn left on Sunnyview Street NE to Fairgrounds Road NE then right on Silverton Road NE. Turn right at the light onto Silverton Road and follow to the light at Lana Avenue NE. Turn right at the light into the North Lot (Blue Lot).

From the South:

Travel north on I-5 to Exit 256 (Market Street). Turn left (west) at the light onto Market Street and follow to 17th Street NE. Turn right at the light onto 17th Street NE. Parking in the South Lot (Orange Lot) is at the intersection of 17th Street and Sunnyview Road NE, or turn right on Sunnyview to access the Pavilion Lot (Pink Lot) and ADA parking.

Parking in the South Lot (Orange Lot) is at the intersection of 17th Street and Sunnyview Road NE, or turn right on Sunnyview Road NE to access the Pavilion Lot (Pink Lot) and ADA parking.

To access the North Lot (Blue Lot), turn left on Sunnyview Street NE to Fairgrounds Road NE then right on Silverton Road NE. Turn right at the light onto Silverton Road and follow to the light at Lana Avenue NE. Turn right at the light into the North Lot (Blue Lot).

PARKING

Parking on the fairgrounds is available, and the cost is $5. Keep in mind it’s cash only.  

TICKETS & PRICING

Presale admission tickets are available now through August 22nd. Presale adult tickets are $6, while onsite tickets are $8. Presale Presale child tickets are $4, while onsite tickets are $5.
