Evergreen also made our top ten city list for Akron, Ohio, and it grabbed a spot on this list too, for good reason. This incredibly luxurious park is also in the heart of Ohio’s largest Amish community. Its location is perfect for those who want to explore the historic area and indulge themselves in “the best home-style Amish cooking restaurants anywhere.” Whether you stay for a weekend or a month, Evergreen takes pride in treating their guests like family.
There are two kinds of RVers. Those who love RVing and those who love RVing in style. Evergreen is definitely for the latter. With all its luxurious amenities, like heated shower floors, waterfall hot tubs, and exercise room, RVers can feel like they’re both outdoorsy campers and one-percenters.

Wood’s is a 157-acre park located in New Philadelphia; the Tuscarawas County. Their main attraction is their seven-acre lake, where guests can go swimming and fishing! They offer cabins and cottages on top of their gorgeous RV and camping spaces.
As mentioned, their main hotspot is their massive lake, with just about everything fun you can think of. Besides swimming and fishing, Wood’s has paddle boating, canoeing, electric boating, and you can even relax on the beach while the kids bury their faces in food and ice cream at Woody’s Grille concession stand (or vice versa).
“Just finished an amazing weekend at this resort in Ohio. Cousins trip!!!! I came from Texas and my sister from Colorado to meet our cousins for a weekend. Can't say how much it was worth the time spent getting there. Beautifully maintained!!! Amazing Zipline tour.. guides were patient and inspiring when we were apprehensive to make the journey. Thank God they were... we LOVED it!!! There are so many activities to do. They even had trick or treating and hayrides for the kids. There are cabins both large and small, RV hookups, and camping. The staff was so kind and inviting. We were fortunate to meet the owners, Larry and Lisa who are top-notch, good people. Highly recommend this resort!!!” – Bridget Colley, Google Review
This is the third park on the list that’s located in Amish Country (right in Louisville). I think we’re starting to see a trend. It’s also a park that’s made our list as one of the top ten RV parks in the Akron area! And why wouldn’t it? Cutty’s is a fantastic park that offers everything but the kitchen sink (actually, it offers that too). Rock out to some live music on the weekends, or show off what you’ve got in the “Cutty’s Got Talent Show.”
Cutty’s is only 20 minutes from the world-famous Pro Football Hall of Fame. Cutty’s also provides separate activities for kids, teens, and adults, which is a nice touch for families of all ages. One of my personal favorite features is that Cutty’s has an in-house RV repair shop.
“Wow this campground is amazing! The shower houses are top of the line! Clean!! Neat!! Vented!! Plenty of room!! Brand new feel! Shower stalls are actually big enough!!
